Pros
Close-knit team, central location office.
Cons
Consistent rounds of redundancies, letting people go in "unneeded positions" and then rehiring new people a few months later when clash flow was in a better position. We would be called by suppliers on a daily basis demanding updates on late payments, to the point that it got quite aggressive and intimidating. The COO and owners stick their heads in the sand, always an issue with refunding customers too as we would have to wait for cash to be released (at the time and expense of the customer). Most of the clothing falls apart after one wash, poorly made and the "sustainability" factor is more greenwashing than anything truthful. Staff were never paid on time, always told by COO "payment does not have to be first thing in the morning" and we uncovered that our pension contributions hadn't been paid - had to threaten legal action and report employer to the ombudsman to get it resolved. High turnover of staff, haven't worked with the current CEO but the last one walked out without a word.
