Work Environment and Culture is amazing. Collaborative teams across the board. Flexibility with remote workers, in office, and for those close enough to an office hybrid work environment.
Company really cares about their employees and is working daily to find more ways to support them across the board.
Big focus in evolving the stack and products around emergency services, and the balance between technology and people involvement in providing and delivering emergency services and notifications.
Leadership is transparent about priorities and challenges, and is dedicated to listening regarding suggestions on how to improve from the employee base. Open door policy is truly that here as well. Every level is willing to communicate with any employee.
Last thing is the diversity within the organization is amazing. Very proud to be helping to save lives daily.
Cons
Ever changing technology requires advancements, these are coming, but as with many not as fast and some would like. In any tech sales position I have been in, this is always the case, sell what you have and be ready to add to the mix when it is released.
Current changes on internal system and combination of data from multiple acquisitions over the years is slow to come together, but moving in the right direction. Patience is key. Similar challenges to other jobs I held in the last 30 years.
