I applied online. I interviewed at Moneybox (London, England) in Mar 2026
Interview
I was impressed by the application and task part of the hiring process, i felt they were looking for applicants willing to invest time and effort when applying which would suggest very high standards and high quality calibre of candidate.
However, when it came to my phone screen, i was expected to accommodate a very late scheduling change because it seemingly did not suit the recruitment team member's timing. The communication showed a lack of empathy, lack of professionalism and no understanding regarding the candidate's time and effort in preparing for this stage of the hiring process.

Question 1
What is your past experience in relation to the role?
I applied online. I interviewed at Moneybox in Jun 2024
Interview
The interview process included an initial screening call with Verona, Moneybox's Employer Branding & Talent Coordinator. After the initial call I was asked to complete a simple task which was a list of typical customer queries that one would face in the role, which I had to sort in a list of importance and provide examples of how I would respond to the queries. After I completed the task I promptly received an invitation to my first interview which I was successful in and then landed my second interview. Both interviews were roughly 45 minutes each. I thought the interview process was very smooth and I felt like Verona and the interviewers were really accommodating. The two-interview process felt slightly more intense for me as I've ever only applied to roles with a single interview, but at the same time I felt that the team just wanted to ensure they are hiring the right person for the role. And also the interviewers will get to know you a lot more during the two interviews, so use it to your advantage as well to show off your experience and personality. All the interviewers were lovely as well and felt like they had genuine interest in getting to know you as a potential colleague.
I have to say a HUGE thank you to Verona as she was amazing in supproting me through the whole interview process which I have to say, I never experienced in any other interview. It felt like the team really want you to succeed. Verona worked hard to promptly answer any questions and allay any worries. She even offerred to give me a briefing call of what to expect from both interviews before each one. She also passed on feedback from the interviewers and gave tips in between the two interviews which helped me focus my prep for them. I genuinely felt supported and encouraged throughout and immediately got a good vibe from the comapny.
In terms of tips - this is probably going to be individual to everyone but I'd say make sure to do plenty of research into the company and show genuine interest in what they do (afterall, you probably don't want to work for a company that doesn't peak your interest). Give detailed answers to questions and back up with solid examples from your previous jobs / research. Also prep some good questions for the interviewers at the end of your interview - don't be too broad and make sure to relate them back to the role you are applying to as much as possible.

Question 1
What interests you about working with pensions and pensions products?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Moneybox (London, England) in Feb 2024
Interview
The interview process consisted of 4 stages. First was a preliminary call with the Hiring Manager, Verona. Second stage consisted of a technical task. And the last two stages were interviews with managing leads and senior management.
After every interview Verona would follow up on how the interview went, then after she would provide feedback and prep points for the next interview stage. I found the experience very professional and consistent.
