      Pros

      Decent Pay. Dog friendly. Some flexibility to WFH if needed. Trust to make important decisions.

      Cons

      Advancement is difficult as there are very few tiers. Climbing the corporate ladder is not a thing at Vortex Optics.

      Pros

      Great work-life balance. Excellent character of coworkers on the whole.

      Cons

      Low end of pay scale. Mid-management is decent on the whole, but is overshadowed and stifled by mediocre senior management. Took a big step down on the “Vortex Family”attitude with regime change from Dan Hamilton to Joe.
