Leadership is unable to plan for attrition and growth in the ever-growing city properly. No real Overtime No clothing allowance No Court appearance pay ( you are expected to show up for court in business attire, no help to pay for dry cleaning fees) There are not enough County cars available for fieldwork. Ever-increasing case loads with no real help. Pay is woefully low compared to the trauma the officer faces working with defendants. Working here, you will need to work a second job to survive.
