Pros

Used to be work from home now we must go into the office. You can skate by if that's your work ethic.

Cons

Frequently employees raise concerns about salary and all we receive are articles about how to invest and save. We are all brainwashed about how wonderful the culture is so we'll turn a blind eye to the fact that this company pays in the bottom 5%. The CEO posted an article about making a decision to work here which explains that Zoho will make zero effort to increase wages while employees are being promoted without salary increases, new employees are making more than existing, and now it looks like we won't receive our regular increase this year. We aren't told things will get better. We're told "this is as good as it gets". People are jumping ship yet the CEO doesn't seem to value tenure even though we're told how happy everyone is. Zoho has the 'take it or leave" it mentality. It's Sridhar's company so that's his perogative but it sure would be nice to work for a company that values your well-being more than just free food for lunch. I have several tech employee coworkers who have second jobs. That's ridiculous.

Pros

First couple of years it was actually a good job filled with understanding and super cool people. Those people have either left or changed for the worse.

Cons

As Zoho has shifted focus to upmarket, they have shifted from being a “different” company to being like every other company. Went from remote to hybrid back RTO. However, they make exceptions for some people and not others. Very big on favoritism and fear mongering. There is definitely racial and gender discrimination there as well. People no longer enjoy working there. They just do what they have to so they stay under the radar or to make other look bad so they look good.
