Leadership is self-centered and often dismissive. Honest feedback is rarely welcomed and can be penalized, creating a culture where employees feel their voices aren’t valued. Policies like “use it or lose it” PTO, negative PTO clawbacks, and constant unilateral structural changes add significant stress and uncertainty. Company-wide communications from the CEO sometimes feel condescending or sarcastic, which drives burnout, disengagement, and turnover among top talent.
