Pros

People are nice and helpful

Cons

Found out after I was hired and had worked there for 8 months, that as a remote employee, I am not entitled to apply for other positions within Vanguard. You have to apply like any other outside individual. Also, I was in training with others who were not remote and found out that while they would get raises when trained in various other departments or (journey's) remote employees do not. Also, when I was hired I was hired as a client services representative, not as a trader. Most companies traders make more money due to the increased liability to them, but not with Vanguard. It was extremely disapointing. I was extremely uncomfortable placing trades but was basically told that I didn't have a choice. Wish I had known all of this during my interviews. Instead it was an "oh well, deal with it" attitude.

Pros

Fully remote is nice and you learn a lot of different programs

Cons

They dangle the opportunity to convert to a full time crew member to keep you there. They give you no raise even if you meet and exceed metrics. There is no communication between Vanguard and Infinia and Vanguard gives you more and more responsibility with no more pay and then they act like they are doing you a favor. The benefits are basically nothing and good luck finding a primary care provider who even knows what your insurance is. They use some third party insurance that basically covers nothing. This is a multi trillion dollar company paying people to do a job for 20$ an hour that should be a 28$ or more job. With no benefits, no pro and they don’t pay you for government holidays.
