It is an extremely well run organization that almost always promotes from within and takes great care of its team. It's a fast paced environment where hard workers can thrive and have a long term and well compensated career. I have 20+ years with the company and I can honestly say it was the best move I have made and plan to end my career here

The company offers steady work and consistent hours, along with valuable opportunities to gain hands on experience in trench safety and daily operations. There is a supportive direct manager who genuinely encourages employee growth, and the team oriented environment is strengthened by coworkers who collaborate well and support one another.

There is a lack of transparency in hiring and promotion decisions, making it difficult for employees to understand how advancement opportunities are determined. Despite strong performance and experience, upward mobility feels limited, and there is a perception of favoritism influencing management decisions. Recent leadership changes have further impacted morale, leaving many employees feeling discouraged. As a result, those who consistently go above and beyond may feel undervalued or taken advantage of.
