Pros

You will get experience working with a great many technologies.

Cons

Management doesn't have much technical knowledge so they don't understand how long certain technical tasks take so projects are planned and bid poorly due. This causes Projects to go over the allotted time frames. Techs get blamed for poor execution of projects rather than Managers for poor planning. I was expected to do in 30 hours what Microsoft Techs can't do in 100. Lack of Professionalism goes all the way to the top. The Owner has literally stood in the middle of the office stomping and yelling like a 6-year-old. Clients require monthly meetings with Management to scrutinize billing due to lack of trust.

Pros

There are lots of opportunities to gain experience and take ownership of projects and implementations, and room to specialize the type of work you focus on. The owner and his wife are very sweet and give lots of small gifts and bonuses throughout the year.

Cons

The management is not great, as the company is small and demands are high a lot of the time, so it can be hard to get a hold of your superiors much of the time.

Pros

The hours are nice 8am-5pm Mon-Fri

Cons

The owner is very rude and there are so many things that are undocumented. It makes trying to learn the environment difficult. The owner also likes to belittle people in front of everyone else and is extremely unprofessional. This is by far the worst place I have ever worked in my 20 years of IT work.
