Pros

Great benefits Great opportunity for networking Great pay for the work Flex Fridays and no meetings that day, though many people use that time to catch up on work they can’t finish during the week due to meetings that eat up time. People are encouraged to develop their career and apply for other positions every 18 months, assuming skills will transfer to another role

Cons

Tech is pretty low quality and outdated Very siloed and backwards at times with reactive support from teams that should be leading the way. Extremely political. People prioritize optics over actual work and will expect you to do the same in order to advance career Very little incentives for above average performance other than not ending up on a performance plan. Everyone gets a similar bonus at the end of the year. Lots of ambiguity in the role, so much so that people are often requesting help with prioritization. High risk of burnout depending on your group

Pros

Great Benefits, including health insurance. Co-workers are nice (remote setting). An inflation bonus for 2025 in the middle of the year and a Christmas bonus. Also, get PTO and UPTO and Vacation Time.

Cons

Computer systems are terrible for doing your job! The system freezes and lags between calls. Back-to-back calls, hiring freeze. Unrealistic metrics and goals to meet. Too many procedures to learn and know to help customers. You are doing like 4 - 5 people's jobs being a front-line agent. Also, the customers are unhinged, and you cannot hang up on them right away after they curse you out. You have to give them two warnings. Be ready to be stressed and mentally drained. Also, only offering two-minute breaks between calls when busy is laughable. That is not enough time for a breather between back-to-back calls.
