Pros

The work itself is very easy to catch on and I like that it’s a fast paced environment.

Cons

Management is the worst!! They definitely show favoritism and they try to squeeze all the juice out of you and if you don’t comply they retaliate against you. They will tell you lies to your face just to avoid any type of conflict. They do not follow safety guidelines as they should having machine operators going into aisles where they have non machine operators working.

Pros

Coworkers at the store level were generally kind and doing their best under difficult conditions.

Cons

I was hired as a Print & Marketing Associate and did not spend a single shift in the copy center. Instead, I was used almost exclusively as a front-end worker, frequently as the only person scheduled to cover the register, shipping counter, Amazon returns, and USPS drop-offs simultaneously. The store’s partnership with Amazon was not disclosed during the hiring process, which is notable given that Amazon returns are by far the most demanding and stressful responsibility in the store. Lines were constant, customers were frustrated, and staffing was minimal — yet expectations remained unrealistic. Despite chronic understaffing, management placed heavy emphasis on rewards numbers, threatening reprimands over metrics that are largely out of an employee’s control. After three months, I was told I had “lost my pep” and questioned about my attitude, despite the fact that I was performing multiple roles under daily skeleton-crew conditions. The deciding factor in my resignation was being told by the general manager that I needed to “get my anxiety under control” or it would become a problem. This comment was inappropriate and particularly concerning given the stress created by management decisions and scheduling practices.
