Pros

The only pro I can think of is that the pay of okay. Nothing else. However, at the end of the day you are still breaking your back.

Cons

One con I have about this company is the limited mobility into corporate roles. I have worked here for five years and earned my bachelor’s degree in Marketing with the goal of transitioning into the corporate office to apply my education. I have applied to corporate positions multiple times and have spoken with HR representatives, but I have not been selected and even been denied a few time without ever given the chance to interview. At the same time, when I express interest in moving up within store operations, such as pursuing a management position, that path is strongly encouraged. It can feel discouraging when advancement into corporate roles seems significantly more difficult, despite having relevant education and long-term company experience. Because of this, I would not recommend the company for individuals seeking growth beyond in-store career paths.

Cons

Holy moly where do even I start? If you end up on the wrong team good luck because you’ll be doing FARRRR beyond your “job description”. The more you move up in this company the more they’ll stress the hell out of you, and you can’t pretend to hide it because that stress rains down to the daily staff running each location. AMs, GMs, ACOs, ect. are even honest about it and that they are exhausted and have strict deadlines to meet. I’ve even known and worked for people who have intentionally demoted themselves due to this. Also I would say the company comes across overall as pretty racist against black ppl. It could just be my location but then again the company claims it promotes diversity and inclusivity- which to an extent is true. I have had both a gay ACO and Latina ACO and work with people from all different backgrounds, disabilities and walks of life ect. BUT you RARELYYYY and I mean IF EVER see Black people in management or higher up positions. Don’t believe me? Go ahead and Panda’s Linked In. You’ll RARELY if EVER see a black ACO or RCO…
