Pros

There are not any advantages

Cons

The business managers in Barcelona present themselves as the nicest people and tell you all the things you want to hear: how they’re going to find you a project that will make you grow professionally, all the benefits of working for Extia, the events, the after work parties, they invite you to the office and treat you as if you’re part of the family from the get go, but as soon as you’ve signed the contract, they start changing their narrative. They start asking you to make concessions about holidays, type of project, starting date, etc and it’s always for their benefit. By the time I started, they still hadn’t found any project for me, so after waiting for a month contributing to an internal project, they decided to finish my contract citing some bs reasons. These people were never fully on board with my hire but they continuously led me on by asking me to trust them about finding me a project, making me quit my previous job and planning my entire life around this new job, until they decided that it was better to fire me. This is not only the most unprofessional thing I’ve ever seen a company do but also the most unethical given that I left my previous job that paid my bills believing that they would find me a project because, according to them, they always do. They compromised my economic stability. They carelessly hired me and never told me that I had an expiration date and that by then I was going to be let go if I was not making any profit for them. Obviously, this would’ve made me think twice before accepting to work for them. If they manage to find you a project, then I guess it’s all rainbows and butterflies, but I invite you to read all the negative comments to see how, as soon as you’re not being profitable, you’re disposable, and the “First who, then what” turns into “First money, or else you’re out”. So don’t make the mistake I made by trusting this greedy company.
