Pros

If you're a driven and focused individual, DB Services will be a great fit for you. DB holds all of its employees to the highest standards and it pays off, if customer reviews and awards are any measurement. Employees are treated better than any place I've worked previously--benefits and perks are great and a flexible schedule makes it easier to balance work and personal life. There's a strong team/family culture and many employees get together outside of work for trivia nights, company outings, etc. You are also given ample resources to build your knowledge and grow as a part of the team and in your professional career.

Cons

Not necessarily any cons to working at DB, but the culture and high expectations are not for everyone. High standards are held in terms of work quality, response time to customers, meeting deadlines, and providing a consultative approach to all services. This may lead to emergency and/or after hours work--meaning that work doesn't always end when you leave the office. Expect that you will receive feedback on work in an effort to improve; this is always done with respect and the goal of growth, not putting others down. That said, those who are sensitive to feedback or who enjoy a lot of downtime will not thrive at DB.

Pros

Flexible schedules, hybrid/remote options, continuous innovations, large focus on professional development

Cons

If you are not motivated to better yourself, then this is not the place for you. Slackers will not make it here. Those that own their work and understand that things take time will go far.

Pros

Team Lead and peers are likable and collaborative, the work is never boring.

Cons

The CEO is extremely difficult to work with and creates a challenging environment for anyone who has to interact with him directly. His leadership style is often dismissive and confrontational, he contradicts himself from meeting to meeting when doing sales reviews, which significantly impacts morale and makes open communication difficult. He rarely if at all gives positive feedback and employees tend to avoid direct interaction whenever possible, which says a lot about the culture at the top.
