Citi is an incredible place to grow your career. You will learn from some of the best in the business. In addition, you will be presented with challenging opportunities to push yourself to the next level.
Cons
My only regret is that I could not a way to stay longer. Sometimes life throws us curve balls and we have to make hard choices.
Consistent schedule/hours
Decent Pay
Office events & Food trucks
Hybrid;
- They supply you with all required equipment (nice monitor) ( has some cons )
- You have the option to work mostly remote only needing to come in once or twice a month to make sure your id card doesn't deactivate.
Cons
I'll start off by saying the last thing anyone wants to hear a manager who is leading a Training course/class is "i haven't done this role/department in over (xx Amount of time > 1 year) When the very fundamental rules and information can change drastically over the span of months.
- Unstable management
- Unrealistic KPIs
- Information Inconsistency ( contradicting leadership; Ask one escalations specialist/manager one thing have to call back and get a completely different answer from someone else)
- Information Subject to change
- NO HR onsite; Extremely difficult to get in contact with HR and if they tell you something your manager will contradict them almost immediately.
Equipment/platforms;
There should be a separate department specifically for Account online support or they could just make their site not a headache.
- BAD laptops & headsets (They Cheaped out)
- The never ending list of platforms you have to navigate(and struggle with) just to do your job will make you lose your mind. NONE of the websites are streamed line nor efficient to use. (Unreliable)
- Offshore IT (they love to not help but tell you the issue has been resolved)
