Listen, this company doesn't care about you. Every aspect of the employee experience communicates ambivalence if not outright hostility to its workforce. CEO doesn’t bother pretending he’s guided by anything but pure, uncut capitalism. If he could run the business without any of us, he would -- and with every quarterly RIF, he gets a little closer. The honesty and clarity of purpose might be refreshing if it weren’t, you know, your livelihood.  If you're in a customer facing role, prepare to deal with well-earned mistrust and hostility.
