Pros

Flexible hours, Opportunity to Learn Automotive Parts though the Learning Modules and Parts Expert Certification which prepares you for the ASE P2, Autozone Assistance Funds, Benefits

Cons

Numbers get you noticed, people get you promoted -- if you don't follow this recommended ideology then you could find your self stuck in a low paying position with no way to advance up. Emphasis on WITT, but some times does not provide the necessary methods to track and improve these metrics consistently.

Pros

You had a job and received a check.

Cons

The company required you to have an open schedule that would change weekly based on their needs. The pay was extremely low for adults trying to find a job. It doesn't make sense that they want you to train to be a parts pro and you'd get maybe a 2-3 dollar raise if you became a manager. Which still wasn't a livable wage. This company also offered no commission compared to the competition. Yet they wanted you to make sure you sell unnecessary little items like battery or bulb grease with every related sale. When winter came around, they called it the slow season and cut everyone's hours as if your bills changed because they lose sales during these two months. They come out with high profit annually though. If management above you at your store was stagnant and not moving up or around you weren't moving up either.
