The higher management are causing chaos with their political games, cutting budget for profitable products, laid off teams that are generating profits, while having several higher management with same title but in a reporting chain

Pros

Good compensation, good work life balance. Fairly flexible and well organized, a lot of independence in how you approach your work. Pretty ideal job for self-motivated mid and late career professionals.

Cons

Management can be a little too hands off. Upper level employees often have remote work privileges, but lower level employees do not. Office pretty empty except for these non-remote employees which hurts company culture. Bonuses for past few years were not full.
