CITGO Refining and Chemicals oversees CITGO Petroleum's refining and petrochemical manufacturing operations. The company operates conversion refineries -- located in Illinois, Louisiana, and Texas -- and is able to process about 117 million barrels of gasoline, 61 million barrels of distillates, and 25 million barrels of jet fuel a year. CITGO Refining and Chemicals operates 749,000 barrels of refining capaicty. Its Lake Charles refinery is the fourth largest in the US with a processing capacity of 425,000 - 440,000 barrels a day.
