Position Overview

The Electrical Documentation Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics for construction projects. This role plays a key part in translating design intent into clear, buildable plans that support field teams and ensure project success.

Create and modify electrical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD software

· Develop:

o Power distribution layouts

o Lighting plans

o One-line diagrams

o Panel schedules

o As-built drawings

· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field electricians to ensure accuracy and constructability

· Review project specifications and incorporate them into drawings

· Maintain drawing standards and file organization

· Update drawings based on field changes and redlines

· Assist with material takeoffs and coordination when needed

· Support continuous improvement in drafting processes and standards

Qualifications Required:

• 2+ years of computer aided design drafting experience (electrical preferred)
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and electrical plans
• Good communication skills and ability to work with field and office teams

Qualifications Preferred:

• Experience in electrical construction or contracting
• Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code)
• Experience with Revit or BIM workflows
• Understanding of power distribution and lighting systems
• Associate degree or technical certification in drafting, engineering technology, or related field

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
