I applied online. I interviewed at Snap-on (Conway, AR) in Sep 2018
Interview
Very personal. I got to meet the whole team. They were all very nice people. I’m not sure if this is typical, but it meant a lot to me. They were transparent about benefits and salary.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Snap-on (Cork) in Oct 2009
Interview
My interview was arranged by an agency in Cork, a product manager and a senior software developer interviewed me, I was told in advance that it would be a technical interview and it would last 40mins. If I got through this interview the next stage was an interview with HR and would include some personality testing. It was at their premises in Northpoint business park, Cork. Really nice premises. The interview was very relaxed and informal, seemed more like a discussion than an interview. However their development uses a methodology called agile and this was explained to me and the emphasis on the interview was on processes ie design processes and I think this is why I did not get any further as I have not used any formal design process methodology.
