There was only 1 round of interview as the role I had applied for is a temporary contract. There were 2 people (from my team, none from HR) on the interview panel.

I applied for a role at SMU Academy and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I heard back—within just 1-2 days, I received an email to schedule the first interview. This initial interview was conducted face-to-face on campus and included two employees, one of whom was the team leader. Overall, the interviewers were friendly and the interview took an hour. After about 1.5 weeks, I received an email inviting me to a second interview with the directors of SMU Academy via MS Teams. Unfortunately, the interviewers were late. While they were generally polite, they did not ask me many questions. Towards the end of the interview, they seemed rushed to wrap things up and didn’t ask if I had any questions. I took the initiative to ask one, but their response felt lacklustre. Overall, the interview lasted only about 30 minutes, and after another 1.5 weeks, I received an email informing me of their decision regarding the job offer.
