I had a phone screen with a recruiter followed by a conversation with the manager. I was initially told I’d hear back within the week but never received any update. After sending a follow-up message, I was told I would hear early the following week, yet still received no response. The lack of follow-through was disappointing. Even if I wasn’t the right candidate, I believe a respectable company should provide some type of update to ensure a positive candidate experience.
