I went through the full interview process for a Senior Data Scientist role. Total rounds: 1 online assessment, 2 initial interviews, 5 final-round interviews — 8 rounds across 3 full months. After the final round, HR emailed to schedule a call. I replied with my availability. One day passed before the call was confirmed. The call was 30 minutes. On the call, I was informed that the team decided to move forward with another candidate. No feedback was provided. It’s just very sad.
