I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Google (Los Angeles, CA) in Jul 2025
Interview
I went through multiple interview rounds, one to introduce myself, one technical test, one with the rest of the team, then I had to wait around 2 weeks for an answer
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked to dissect a code made by AI, criticize it and optimize it to use less resources
it was really o recruter was fine i got referal the questioon wasn't hard but i was super nervous and i failed miserbly despite not being a very hard question and it sucks
First they will call you, and ask about your background ,personalty etc. And some questions about your backgrounds, almost going through your CV. They are so quick and highly professional.
On site interview, 2 coding, 2 design interview, 1 HR interview. Coding interviews went very smoothly, while design interviews were very hard. It would be better to prepare more for the design rounds for this role.
