Interview
The interview experience was overall positive and structured. It started with a phone screen where the recruiter explained the role, asked about my background, and clarified my salary expectations.
Next, I was invited for a technical/functional round with the hiring manager. They asked scenario-based questions about how I’d handle challenges on the job. I also discussed my past projects in detail. The interviewer was friendly but asked probing questions to assess my depth of knowledge.
My experience with the interview process was disappointing. While the role initially seemed aligned with my background, my skills and experience were consistently downplayed during conversations. Despite having extensive experience in analytics, reporting, and cross-functional support, the discussion focused more on what I hadn’t done rather than how my transferable skills could add value.
The process felt dismissive and did not reflect an openness to diverse career paths or growth-oriented talent. Candidates with strong, relevant experience may want to be prepared for a very narrow interpretation of qualifications.
