Recruiter reached out first after applying through the portal, then a series of 3 interviews. First with the team lead, then the whole team, then a presentation interview. Overall it was a pretty quick process.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Ellucian
Interview
First round interview involved a screening with the recruiter. They asked about your basic qualifications and then moved on to second interview with 2 managers. This one was really pleasant however the recruiter from the first interview was very pushy about scheduling at the suggested time even though I asked for flexibility because I still worked in the office. Final round consisted of a panel interview with your immediate team and manager. They asked for a 10 minute presentation as the first part of the interview and then the team asked some behavioral questions after. After I did the presentation, the team had no questions at all about the presentation. Few days after that, I received an email from the same recruiter saying I didn’t get the role. I tried asking for feedback and they said there was no feedback and said it was “very close”. Very infuriating experience where I had no flexibility regarding my scheduling even though I explained my situation to them and also spent easily upwards of 20 hours preparing for rounds of interviews and the presentation with no feedback after being declined for the role. Do better.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Ellucian (Mérida, Yucatán) in Apr 2023

They want to know if you can handle clients and understand what it takes to be a consultant. It is very important for the company for you to have other hobbies, specially if you are working from home. It was a quick process, just an interview and done.
