They asked me to walk through a past project, focusing on the challenges I faced, how I approached solving them, and what the measurable outcomes or lessons learned were.
Shockingly unprofessional interview experience. First the recruiter got my name wrong at least once. Secondly, upon arriving the receptionist asked me if I was Jewish? WTH?! (I am German.) Thirdly, while the HM seemed nice, the employee I'd be working worth actively sabotaged the interview and clearly didn't want to work with me to protect his role. They ended up hiring someone else with no experience. Finally, they said they would get back to my at x date and they were several days late.
All in all, probably the worst interview experience I've ever had and I'm an older graduate student who has held many FT, consulting, and internship roles.
