Due to cost control, this employer has their own specific holiday schedule rather than simply observing all Federal holidays.

Starring with no time available

You get vacation and PTO after a year

Accrued Time Off - employer is engaged with location

You accumulate your vacation days and they're not really yours to use until after you've been there for a year and you get 40 hrs sick pay in the beginning after your 90 day

Have a few extra days off due to it being a French company. If you don't use them each year you lose them

2 weeks of paid vacation and 3-4 floating holidays

Average. You accrue hours with weeks worked

It's great that they offer these benefits but they do mislead you about it during the hiring process. You are not eligible for either of these initially. In fact, you are ineligible for either of these benefits until you've worked there for two years.
