Pros

Hands on work with easy to use design programs

Cons

Severe lack of training, additionally they conveniently left out the part that in addition to working in the field you applied for, you are forced to work front desk and handle money.

Pros

Great People, Great Environment, Awesome Atmosphere. It really is a good franchise, owners are really caring people. Not much negative to say.

Cons

Low pay. As a Graphic Designer, not much creative freedom and therefore not challenging enough to keep you happy at work, at least that is my experience. a little unorganized. No health benefits.

Pros

It was nice to see final designs out in the real world helping businesses stand out. The interview process was smooth and they seemed like nice people. The coworkers were very welcoming and provided plenty of support.

Cons

I need to share my strong disappointment with my experience at this Signarama, specifically with the owners, Bruce and Marta. Initially, they appeared friendly and welcoming; however, as time went by and issues arose with other employees, their true colors showed. Their pattern of negative behavior reflects a lack of professionalism that is harmful to the business, and especially to the employees who are dedicated to keeping it open. The owner has little to no leadership skills, struggles to accept feedback, and fails to identify proper solutions to staff challenges. It’s incredibly frustrating to watch him lose his temper and take it out on both employees and customers. What’s worse is that his wife, a HR professional for several years, seems to cover up his unprofessionalism and hostility instead of properly addressing the issue. While I appreciate the opportunity I was given, I believe it is important to highlight that the recent loss of employees reflects the issue of disrespect and lack of support. Future employees should be aware that they will be expected to take on additional responsibilities due to the ongoing difficulty in retaining staff. Honestly, the pay just isn’t worth the stress of working in such a negative environment. If I were you, I would seriously think twice before joining the Manteca team.
