Pros

The best reason to work at the former MegaPath is the employees

Cons

They were purchased and the company fell to bits. Customers leaving at record pace, harder to sell based on bad reviews, company delisting, not paying vendors, etc. All the good employees are leaving at a rapid pace. Benefits went from good to horrendous. PTO time cut, medical/dental/vision rates went up by about 30%, quality of insurances dropped as well costing more to make visits, perks and bonuses are non existent anymore. CEO of Fusion talks down to employees on company calls.

Good sense of teamwork in the customer support rank and file. Free coffee in the break room?

Cons

Customer support management, from the leads all the way up to managers, and especially the holdovers from Speakeasy are all entrenched and beleaguered. They say they are here to support their teams, but it's lip service. If something goes wrong, even if as an employee you did their best and followed protocol, but the situation soured, you get fried. When an employee actually needs help, all you get from support leadership is platitudes followed by official documentation in your employee file. Also pay rate is significantly below market for skillset required. You will be broke working here.
