Pros

If you work on the development side of creating deliverables, you have time for focused work, generally speaking. It's a well-known brand in the compliance and training space. Colleagues at LRN are among the smartest people I've ever worked with, top of their fields, and incredibly kind to each other, consistently, even when under pressure from deadlines or the occasional unhappy client. Unlimited PTO for US employees is a real plus!

Cons

So much tracking of time and effort. I often felt the pressure not to log "resource waiting time" in Mavenlink (project management tracking too), regardless of if accurate or not. Plus, more logging and tracking time off in ADP, in addition to what we put in Mavenlink. So much data invovled. For the Delivery teams, we are mostly scattered around the world, so there's no office to go to, unless you live near the HQ in New York or the regional offices in Mumbai, Dublin, or Costa Rica. That can get lonely.

A lot of recent progress and momentum

Pros

With the recent merger with Thomson Reuters compliance learning, the company has pulled away from the pack in terms of competitive offering. Since the new year, sales territories and commission plans are fair and above the market. Leads for sales have increased since last year. Seems like a lot of competitor's team members are dropping for roles at LRN - there is a lot of momentum.

Cons

Since the pandemic its been slow building back the awesome culture in the office(s). Team is distributed, so it's challenging to schedule calls with teammates, and often requires evening/early morning calls.
