Decent place to use as a stepping stone, no chance to advance internally.
Pros
Decent Work/Life balance. Generally good atmosphere. Mediocre infrastructure. Friendly employees.
Cons
Owners play favorites heavily. If you aren't in the good graces of the office culture, you will be very quickly reprimanded and issued punishment. The company is ran by owners who are incredibly cheap when it comes to compensation and heavily take advantage of their employees. Employees are very commonly pressured to accomplish tasks outside their job description and far above the pay they offer. They do not offer PTO and pay is far below average competitive rate in area and industry. Owners spend substantial effort in micromanaging in completely wrong ways, often leading to feeling like you're always being watched and scrutinized to have your actions used against you-- even when you did what you were told. Owners keep a "family" style company culture which leads to the owners using their employers unfairly. They refuse to pay overtime unless approved-- not sure if that's legal. Bullying and unfair treatment is common from upper management. There is little to no opportunity for career advancement. The few opportunities that exist for career advancement are issued out to family members or friends who have been hired by the owners.
